Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

Growing and Processing

1

We farm these olive trees with nature, not against. Our regenerative practices put the soil first, nurturing the trees and the environment, using water wisely and always taking the best care of our employees. When harvest rolls around it is easy for the cold press mill to turn our olives into the best oil. Most olive oil labels say this stuff, but with Quail Cache that we make sure this is what you are paying for.

Storage & Packaging

2

This is where you and I can change the food system. If I don’t sell you a bottle at a time and you agree to buy the oil you will use in a year from me we can rewire how money flows through the system. I’ll store the oil for you as long as you want so long as you agree to take it within a season (one year). This agreement between the two of us re-wires the food system and lets us use retail and distribution costs differently.

Logistics

3

Shipping is not cheap and it is a cost that is baked into the retail costs (retail stores are very good at moving stuff around). The more you take in a shipment the cheaper your oil is and if you come and pick it up it is every more inexpensive!

Reviving the Land, One Orchard at a Time

Every bottle of olive oil represents a step toward restoring balance to our environment. Our regenerative practices go beyond sustainability—they actively heal the land. From enriching the soil to supporting local wildlife like the California quail, our orchards are designed to foster a thriving ecosystem. By choosing our olive oil, you’re not just bringing unparalleled flavor to your kitchen; you’re joining a mission to revive the land, one orchard at a time. Together, we’re proving that farming can replenish what it takes, creating a lasting legacy of health and abundance.

Natural Bred on Pasture

Artificial insemination in high-stress environments.

Growth Hormones and Anti-biotics commonly used

CALVES OFTEN REMOVED EARLY, SOMETIMES RAISED IN CROWDED CONDITIONS.

Our cattle are naturally bred on pasture, raised without growth hormones or antibiotics, experience minimal stress, and are gradually transitioned to a natural grass diet.
In many industrial operations, cattle endure high-stress environments from artificial insemination to early separation. Calves are abruptly weaned and fed formula or bulk feed, often confined in crowded spaces. Growth hormones and antibiotics are routine, and young castrated males are grouped and sold off at auction to the highest bidder.
“Fed a locally sourced, sustainable mix—including almond hulls, sunflower, corn, barley, rice bran, molasses, and hay—our cattle are raised with care and quality in mind, proving that local ranches like ours offer a better way, even if it doesn’t serve the same bottom line.
In industrial feedlots, cattle are fed GMO corn laced with antibiotics and glyphosate residues—corn shipped in trainloads that deplete farmland and contaminate soil. Agribusiness giants prioritize quantity over quality, often at the expense of rural communities, ethical farming, and environmental sustainability.
Handled with care and dignity, our cattle are processed locally and humanely. Here, butchery is still a respected art and profession. The carcass is cooled, aged, and transported to a family-owned cut-and-wrap facility, where steaks and roasts are carefully prepared, and all remaining meat is ground—ensuring every cut comes from a single animal.
Industrial-scale slaughterhouses rely on high-stress, high-volume processing, where ground beef is often made from the meat of multiple animals. Workers face grueling conditions—tight quarters, long hours, and repetitive tasks—all to maximize efficiency. These facilities have been described as ‘hell on earth,’ with products like tongues processed by the pallet in a single shift.
We store your meat in our freezer and ship it to you throughout the year. While you enjoy this year’s beef, we’re already raising the animal you’ll eat next year—your animal, cared for and handled with the utmost respect every step of the way.
“Protein has become a global commodity—mixed, shipped, and distributed worldwide before being branded for retail or restaurants. The branding is designed to make consumers feel good, but often lacks truth and transparency, leaving Americans unknowingly supporting deceptive marketing without understanding the reality behind their food.
TRUE COST OF MEAT
“Every dollar you spend supports sustainable practices and the respectful treatment of animals. It’s not expensive for profit’s sake, but because ethical, high-quality production truly costs more.
FAKE CHEAP MEAT
The real cost of cheap meat is paid in environmental damage and resource depletion—low prices made possible by the unsustainable use of our planet’s most precious resources.

Grass-finished beef comes from cattle that eat only grass and forage throughout their lives. This natural diet produces meat with a healthier fat profile, more vitamins, and a distinctive flavor that reflects the land where the animals grazed.
When properly stored in your freezer, our vacuum-sealed beef maintains excellent quality for up to 12 months. For optimal flavor, we recommend consuming ground beef within 6 months and steaks within 12 months.
Our cattle live as nature intended – on pasture, in family groups, with plenty of space to roam. We practice low-stress handling methods and work with processing facilities that prioritize humane treatment.
Regenerative grazing involves moving cattle frequently through different pasture areas, allowing plants adequate recovery time. This mimics natural grazing patterns of wild herds and stimulates plant growth, builds soil carbon, increases water retention, and creates diverse habitat for wildlife.
Yes, all our beef is processed in USDA-inspected facilities to ensure safety and quality.
